The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) en.lighten initiative and lites.asia hosted a webinar, CIE Test Method for LED Lamps, on Thursday, 7 May 2015.
The webinar provided a detailed overview of CIE standard, CIE S 025, Test Method for LED Lamps, LED Luminaires and LED Modules, including::
- The development of the standard;
- Its purpose and use;
- Meeting the requirements of the standard;
- Performance and characterisation of the testing and measurement equipment;
- What measurements it does and doesn’t cover;
- A brief overview of measurement uncertainty.
The webinar was presented by Mr Tony Bergen, Secretary of CIE Division 2, which is the division of the CIE that deals with physical measurement of light and radiation.
