In a recently released policy report, the IEA 4E SSL Annex highlights dozens of initiatives that contributed to the promotion of quality, energy efficient lighting in the SSL Annex member country markets. The report is intended to inform and encourage the development of policies and programmes around the world that will accelerate the uptake and supply of high quality, energy efficient LED lighting products. It captures quality assurance mechanisms, including market monitoring and performance testing; tailored communication approaches for consumers and businesses; manufacturer support and incentive approaches for consumers and businesses.
