The United Nations Environment Programme en.lighten initiative workshop on developing a legislative framework for lighting monitoring, verification and enforcement (MVE) was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 19 - 21 August 2014.
The workshop engaged invited government policy makers in building capacities for the development and strengthening of effective MVE systems for lighting. It also provided a discussion platform on the experiences, benefits and potential avenues for the development and harmonization of standards for lighting products in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
